A 45-degree pipe fitting is commonly used in plumbing and piping systems, designed to facilitate a 45 degree change in the angle of the piping direction. These threaded fittings are essentially a 45 degree curved pipe with female (external) threads on either end. This enables it to connect to pipes or male threaded fittings at a 45 degree angle. The Stainless Steel 45 elbow has female threads on both ends, which enables a quick installation by simply screwing them onto the corresponding male-threaded fittings or pipes. Their NPT tapered thread provides a secure and leak-proof connection, making them suitable for a wide range of applications including residential, commercial and industrial plumbing. The 45-degree angle of this elbow fitting provides a gentle curve, ideal for redirecting fluid flow around corners or obstacles with minimal resistance. This stainless steel 45 degree elbow fitting is manufactured out of stainless steel 304 & 316 ensuring longevity as well resistance to corrosion.

When creating an offset in the vent pipe system, calculate the offset to determine the elbow angle. This elbow length creates a 45° bend. When used with a corresponding 45° elbow, the system will continue vertically toward the ceiling with the appropriate offset. Add pipe sections between pairs to produce additional offset. The elbow has 2 adjustable pieces that twist for easy, accurate offsets.
