Spiral Chutes - JXSC

The working principle of the spiral chute is to use the inclined plane water flow method to sort according to the specific gravity difference of minerals. The slurry mixture is fed into the chute with a small inclination angle (generally 3 to 4 degrees, generally no more than 6 degrees), and the ore particles are layered according to the density under the combined action of the impact of water flow, gravity, centrifugal force, and friction. Since the speed distribution of the water flow in the tank is large in the upper layer and smaller in the lower layer, the denser ore particles are concentrated in the lower layer, and they move slowly along the bottom of the tank due to the momentum of the water flow and the greater friction at the bottom of the tank; The particles are concentrated in the upper layer, carried by the water flow, and flow out of the tank at a relatively fast speed. Then, two kinds of products with different densities, concentrate and tailings can be obtained by intercepting the flow separately by layer.
