You have custom access on SD card - Apple Support Community
Some years ago I transferred most of music library from my iMac to a SD (32gb) to use in my car entertainment system. I simply dragged & dropped the files to the card including the art work. The other day I tried to add more albums and delete others but while the drag & drop seem to work, the moment I ejected the SD card, all changes were reversed.

I believed it had something to do with "You have custom access" on the SD "Get info" window and/or Ventura updates???
Anyway I gave up trying to change access on old SD card & purchased a new one. This new SD card also had, to my dismay, the dreaded "You have custom access" BUT I was able to add new music to this new SD card without any trouble!!! It would be good to solve the issue on the old SD card as it had plenty of space and easier to have my mobile music library on one SD card not two.
Would be grateful for any help to solve this issue.
Hey there Espresso_Kid,
Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities.
If you're experiencing issues with that SD card then it may not be a bad idea to reformat the card to ensure that it remains compatible with your iMac. Since you last transferred data so long ago, it's possible that there have been some file structure changes over the past few years with the change from OS X to macOS that could have caused some compatibility issues. We'll share some information below as to how you can format that drive, but you'll want to make sure that you transfer any data you don't want to lose over to your Mac and off of that SD card because once you format the card, it will erase everything stored on it.
Here is how you can format the SD card: Erase and reformat a storage device in Disk Utility on Mac - Apple Support
Once you have formatted the card, you can feel free to try and move the files you transferred to your Mac right back onto that card and hopefully you won't run up against any permissions type issues.
